 The Power of We

As we passionately dedicate ourselves to transforming and enriching the lives of our clients through programming, we realize that our reach is only the beginning. To truly make a lasting impact, we must unite with other devoted agencies and organizations that share our vision. Today, we want to shine a heartfelt spotlight on the Upstate Fatherhood Coalition, whose unwavering support ignited a powerful change in one of our clients. Through their intensive programs—covering employment, healthy relationships, credit building, finances, homeownership, entrepreneurship, and parental support—this individual was given a renewed hope and purpose. With steadfast guidance and genuine care, he was able to complete the program, carrying newfound wisdom and strength back into his life—ready to flourish and nurture a brighter future for himself and those around him.
We cannot overstate the importance of organizations like the Upstate Fatherhood Coalition—they are the catalysts that enable us to extend our compassion and services far beyond what we could achieve alone. Our deepest gratitude goes to Mr. Joel Buckmire and Phillip Hagood for their dedication and heartfelt assistance. If you or your organization are inspired to join us in this mission, or if you need our support, please reach out to the Cherokee County Disabilities and Special Needs Board at (864) 487-4190.
Together, united in purpose and passion, we are unstoppable. Because, truly, we are better together.

In Our Garden

Join us with open hearts at the Work Activity Center, where passion blossoms in our vibrant Community Garden. Here, our dedicated clients pour their love into the soil—tilling, planting, watering, and harvesting with hope and pride. Every fresh produce they nurture becomes more than food; it’s a gift of health, a symbol of resilience, and a bond of community. They have passionately cultivated glowing rows of corn, crisp cucumbers, tender okra, fiery peppers, hearty squash, and ripe tomatoes. With each success, they dream bigger—eager to grow even more, learning and thriving through their gardening journey. This isn’t just about planting seeds; it’s about sowing the seeds of healthy living, skill, and confidence in themselves. If you feel inspired to connect, to share in this empowering experience, don’t hesitate—reach out to the Cherokee County Disabilities and Special Needs Board at (864) 487-4190. Together, we can nurture growth, hope, and a healthier future.

Celebrating Moments Within the CCDSNB Community

These moments of connection were shared by staff, as clients decorated eggs and shared joyful times in our residential homes. Each smile, each laughter-filled moment, captures the essence of community, love, and family. This is just a glimpse into activities and bonds formed here.
